Japanese herringbone selvedge denim: rope-dyed indigo over a white core, with the selvedge stripe itself woven in herringbone. Mid-rise and true to your jean size, with an 18" leg opening and 32" inseam in size 2.
Japanese mills kept the shuttle looms America retired. Rope dyeing wraps the outside of the yarn in indigo while the core stays white, so the denim fades where you wear it.

Love the fit and material of these jeans. Wide leg with 100% cotton denim, and the cool, subtle herringbone pattern. Fits true to size. Would love to see additional studio product shots (sides and back of product in addition to the lifestyle shots) and more women's selvedge in the future.
