The Fabric
Japanese shuttle looms give the cloth its subtle texture, and rope dyeing leaves the core of every yarn white, so the indigo fades where you wear it. Whiskers and worn edges are put in by hand at our wash house in Los Angeles, then the denim keeps changing from there.
